News About Our Bodies Ourselves, and Welcome to a New OBOB Blogger!

By Christine Cupaiuolo — September 1, 2007

So after a few days of updating and renaming the blog categories and reorganizing entries — and getting that job mostly done — I’ve got more good news to report.

First, the Our Bodies Ourselves website has undergone a back-end transformation of sorts that will make it easier to locate relevant information. The health resource center is now organized by topic, rather than by chapter. And in addition to essential book excerpts, web-exclusive content, and recommended links and resources, you’ll now also find links to relevant blog categories.

Now, for the big Our Bodies Our Blog news — Rachel Walden of Women’s Health News, who guest blogged here last month, is joining OBOB starting Wednesday, Sept. 5. Rachel, a medical librarian and all-around great blogger, will be writing here twice a week — on Mondays and Wednesdays. Read more about Rachel’s impressive background, and please give her a big welcome.

I’ll still be writing Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, which will include the (now-late!) weekly Double Dose. More to come soon …
