"Our Bodies, Ourselves" Featured in New Film

By OBOS — January 10, 2017

Have you heard of the new movie, “20th Century Women”? The film takes place in the late 1970s and follows a single mother, Dorothea, who recruits two friends to help her raise her adolescent son, Jamie. The book “Our Bodies, Ourselves” plays a cameo role when Abbie, a punk rock photographer and one of the recruited friends, lends Jamie lends her copy, where he learns all about women’s orgasms.

Because the book is featured, the producers of the film are offering free passes to advance screenings to friends and supporters of Our Bodies Ourselves. Advance screenings are happening this week in 14 cities across the country — and you’re invited!
