Editor / Communications Strategist
Christine Cupaiuolo is a writer, editor and communications consultant. She was managing editor of the ninth edition of “Our Bodies, Ourselves” (Simon & Schuster, 2011), named by Library Journal as one of the eight best consumer health books of the year.
She first joined forces with OBOS in 2004, when she edited the politics chapter of the eighth edition of “Our Bodies, Ourselves” (Simon & Schuster, 2005). In 2006, she helped to develop and launch Our Bodies, Our Blog, OBOS’s blog on women’s health and public policy, which she continues to edit. She has also worked with OBOS on writing and editing newsletters and position statements, and on website development and social media outreach.
Following award-winning work as a newspaper reporter covering government and courts, Christine created PopPolitics.com, an online magazine covering the intersections of pop culture and politics, and later developed Ms. Magazine’s first blog, ms.musings, on women, media and culture. When not working on women’s rights and public policy issues, she continues to freelance and consults with nonprofits on digital communications and social media strategy.
