Network of East-West Women-Polska - Poland Since 1991, the Network of East-West Women has supported the growth of gender scholarship, women's movements, and grassroots activism, as well as the exchange of knowledge between women in the US and Central and Eastern Europe, the Newly Independent States and Russia (CEE/NIS/Russia).

Through their Book and Journal Project in particular, the organization has aided in the establishment of gender studies and women's rights centers and libraries, and supported original research and publications on women's changing situations throughout the region. In eleven years, this project has contributed roughly 6,500 books and journals, as well as $150,000 in small grants to feminist scholars, activists, and women's NGOs. Women’s Health in St. Petersburg - Russia Please contact the coordinating group if you would like copies of the following publications.
- Journal article for AIDS, Sex, Health. Published since 1991, this is the only AIDS periodical distributed in the countries of the former USSR. It is supported by UNAIDS, EUROWHO, and USAID and received awards from UNICEF and the Russian Ministry of Health for AIDS prevention.
