      Israel Women’s Network Data Book - Women and Their Bodies was the only organization to write chapters on women’s health for this data book, which tracks the status of Israeli women every two years. Please contact the coordinating group for copies.

      Shokado Women’s Bookstore - Japan
      Sacrificing Ourselves for Love, 2001. Japanese translation of the English Sacrificing Ourselves for Love, published by Our Bodies Ourselves. This publication deals with issues such as dieting and eating disorders, cosmetic surgery, domestic violence, rape, and STDs, all of which are serious problems in Japanese society. It also includes information on shelters and counseling services available to battered women in Japan. Read the preface.

      Women’s Health in St. Petersburg - Russia

      • Journal article for AIDS, Sex, Health. Published since 1991, this is the only AIDS periodical distributed in the countries of the former USSR. It is supported by UNAIDS, EUROWHO, and USAID and received awards from UNICEF and the Russian Ministry of Health for AIDS prevention.

      GREFELS - Senegal
      The coordinating group has a long history in research and activism related to women’s rights. Here are some examples:

      • Women of the World: Laws and Policies Affecting their Reproductive Lives, Francophone Africa, 1998. Published in partnership with the Center for Reproductive Law and Policy in New York.

      • Women’s Reproductive Rights in Senegal: Implementation, Enforcement, and the Reality of Women’s Reproductive Lives, 2000. Shadow report presented to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights at its 26th session as a supplement to the periodic report of the Government of Senegal.

        Women’s Health Promotion Center - Serbia

        Mavi Kalem - Turkey
        Zuhre. Free monthly women’s health magazine on women’s health circulated in Turkey and Cyprus. It also features excerpts from the Turkish adaptation. Available in Turkish only.
