Andy Steiner, author of “Spilled Milk: Breastfeeding Adventures and Advice from Less-Than-Perfect Moms” (Rodale 2005), is a freelance writer and editor based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She wrote the “Feeding Your Baby” chapter for “Our Bodies, Ourselves: Pregnancy and Birth.” She is a certified lactation counselor.
Andy is author of two nonfiction books for children: “Girl Power on the Playing Field” (Lerner 2000) and “A Sporting Chance: Sports and Gender” (Lerner 1995). Her latest book is the upcoming “How To Survive: The Extraordinary Resilience of Ordinary People” (Think Piece 2014).
She is also a former senior editor at Utne Reader and editor of the Minnesota Women’s Press.
