Karen Anne Wolf is a nurse sociologist and nurse practitioner educator living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She has worked for more than 30 years in community nursing practice in health promotion and with care vulnerable populations. She has written and presented on the politics, history and emerging trends in nursing. Her recent work has focused on nursing as body work, and the challenges of providing team-based care.
Karen is committed to demystifying and providing open access to health information. In her spare time, she enjoys growing her own food, making apple butter and spending time with family and friends.
