Barbara Keddy’s research in women’s health has a focus on race, age and culture.
She has received Canadian national and provincial funding developing and completing 25 projects regarding women and health. Her website lists over 100 blogs, in particular many regarding issues of neuroplasticity.
Her book “Women and Fibromyalgia: Living with an Invisible Disease” is in regard chronic pain, fatigue and other conditions associated with this syndrome.
Barbara is a retired professor emerita in nursing, sociology and social anthropology, and women’s studies at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
