Kezia L. Ellison

Kezia Ellison is founder and president of Educating Teens, Inc.

A non-profit organization, Educating Teens provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS & STI prevention education to pre-teens, teens, young adults and their families. The organization focuses on the underlying factors of risky behavior, societal issues, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Kezia earned a Master of Biomedical Sciences from the Commonwealth Medical College, a Master of Women’s Health from Suffolk University, and a Bachelor of Human Biology, Human Health and Disease, from Brown University.

She currently serves on the National Board of Alumnae Visitors for The Ellis School and as a trustee of the Pittsburgh History & Landmark Foundation. In 2012, Kezia was recognized by the New Pittsburgh Courier as a FAB 40 under 40 honoree. She received the 2013 City of Pittsburgh Mayor’s Youth Spotlight Award for her work with HIV prevention in teens.
