Mary Ann Leeper, PhD

Mary Ann Leeper retired from The Female Health Company in 2013 where she was the senior strategic advisor and president and chief operating officer, and was responsible for the development of FHC’s female condoms and for the strategies to advance the access of FC1 and FC2 to women globally.

She held senior positions at GD Searle, was assistant professor at Temple University Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine, and was a biochemist for Wyeth and McNeil Laboratories. She is currently a director of the Neenah Paper company.

Mary Ann co-founded the Business Women’s Initiative against HIV/AIDS. She received the “Woman Entrepreneurship” award from Temple University’s School of Business and a recognition award by United Nation for her pioneering work in women’s health.

She has served on several boards including: the Board of Managers of the Metropolitan YMCA of Chicago, the Board of LifeSource Blood Services, and the Board of INFLUX.
