Melina Gioconda Davis

Melina Gioconda Davis (“Melina Gaze”) is an Ecuadorian-American sexuality educator and performance artist. They are co-founder of Vulgar.mx, which offers Spanish-language sex education with a focus on pleasure and social justice. Melina is currently a PhD student at the University of Chicago and researches topics in contemporary sexuality including pleasure, human variation, and the role of social movements and transnational actors in sexual knowledge production. Their work has been featured on NPR, National Geographic, and It Gets Better.
