Noelle Elizabeth Spencer

Dr. Spencer is a menstrual equity advocate and mixed methods researcher. She is passionate about health equity and much of her work focuses on improving health outcomes and access to health information and education. Her research interests include exploring opportunities to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within the menstrual equity and period poverty movements and co-creating progressive menstrual health policies globally.

Dr. Spencer earned her BA in gender and sexuality studies from Brown University, her MSc in gender policy and inequalities from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and her PhD in behavioral and community health sciences from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health.
