Margaret F. (Peggy) Moloney, RN, PhD, ANP-CS

Margaret (Peggy) Moloney is an associate professor of nursing at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

She currently teaches primarily in the doctoral nursing program, where she teaches philosophy of science and qualitative research methods, and supports students in their dissertations. She also teaches classroom and clinical practice in the family nurse practitioner program.

For most of her career, she has practiced as a nurse practitioner and has worked in numerous primary care and women’s health settings. Her teaching and research have often been conducted in conjunction with her clinical practice and have been focused on women’s health, where she has primarily studied women and migraines with a major focus on the perimenopausal years.

She has presented her migraine research, and implications for health care of women with migraines, at research and clinical conferences.
